Cats gone missing.....
47 Answers
He was here last night but no one has seen him this morning. Kids have been in and out so he might have got out. He usually comes back the minute I call him. I've been walking the streets calling him but nothing. I've checked every cupboard in the house...
He's chipped....what do I do now?
He's not very good at being outside and usually only goes out 10 minutes at a time.....
Fretting now.....he's not even a year old yet :-(((

check with neighbours that he hasn't got locked in anywhere - also double check your house - we had a 'missing cat' once, searched for hours only to find it asleep in a drawer. Put up notices everywhere with a description etc and on Monday morning if he hasn't returned contact all vets and rescue centres in the area. If the local school is agreeable, ask the head to inform the children in assembly, you then have lots of eyes looking for the cat. If cat still not found by then contact the road cleaning department of the council as they would have removed the cat if it had been killed in a road traffic accident. Hopefully it was microchipped. Good luck and hope he's safely asleep in front of the fire as I post this.
ummmm I feel for you, one of mine went missing for a while, he'd been nosing in a shed and got shut in. Make up some posters and stick them up in your street if he doesn't come back tomorrow. Notify the vets around you in case someone finds him and brings him in, and also if you have a local cat refuge (Cats Protection etc) let them know. It might be that he ran out when the kids were with you - mine run a mile any time they hear children, and if he's not used to going out much then he might have panicked and be hiding somewhere until it gets dark, then he'll try to find his way home - I hope so, very much. At least you have chipped him so the vets will know who he belongs to. I feel for you - let us know what happens.
There is a vet opposite Abington Park (on Wantage Road) give them a ring.
They ended up with my cat when he went missing from Romany Road.
I haven't heard from Pete since shortly after he moved. I could tell you a tale or two about him; (and I could tell you a tale or two regarding what he told me about YOU !! :D
