Does anyone know where I can get a car window sticker for banning blood sports/hunting?

i'm a forester jake, i know what goes on
I see nothing wrong with people going out with a gun to shoot their food actually ummmm. It doesn't compare with fox hunting.

I do actually loath the shoots with beaters that we have round us - that again is a sport for a few. They breed the birds specifically for the shoots. Most of the people that come are lousy shots anyway and again they come up from the towns for a 'jolly'!
must be cheap shooting down your way lottie, it is mostly foreigners that do the grouse shooting up here

It is has been firmly established that fox numbers do not need to be "controlled" - that is an old myth. And I rest my case that even wanting to go out and kill something - by whatever means - is a dubious character trait. Where does that need end?
Do you eat meat?
ok then, where is the evidence that foxes do not need to be controlled? hundreds on each estate that i work on are having to be shot etc, instead of a few that were hunted by hunt's

No - but if animals are kept humanely and killed humanely I have no problem with people eating meat if they want to. It all comes down to the cruelty - be it factory farming or bloodsports!
as long as some one else does the killing?
There is certainly a difference between wanting to go out and kill and needing to go out and kill. We do need to kill some things unfortunately and it's a basic survival instinct. I do eat some meat and I do feel guilty about the way meat is produced. I would feel fine if I shot my own meat (only I cannot kill anything - so I am a hypocrite).
Killing anything for pure sport is dubious in my mind.
I couldn't kill anything either (except flies)
lets kill by Myxomatosis etc, lot less cruel...lol
Question Author
I would be prepared to kill if I wanted to eat meat - if you eat meat you should be prepared to!

Guess we're all going to differ on this subject - and could go on for ages - but I have a boss just coming back in!
That's like saying if you want to eat veg you must grow your own...

Or to drink wine you must have an orchard...

Anyone got a chicken I could borrow?....I fancy a boiled egg..
Question Author
Ummmmm - how did you get to that-very funny image!
It's not as simplistic as that though queries, is it. We can't live like we did hundreds of years ago by being self sufficient. We have evolved. There isn't enough space anyway. I try to eat only meat that is naturally reared and am prepared to pay more for it and therefore eat far less of it. If I had to kill it I would definitely become a veggie and it wouldn't be difficult.

Steg, Myxi is the most awful thing we ever did to animals in my opinion. Where we live we see so many affected rabbits and it is dreadful.
