my 3 yrs old cavalier king charles has ..........

woken up with one of his eyes half closed. It appears to be looking in another direction. Any ideas anyone what it might be?

How is he other than the eye? Any shaking or disturbed movement?
Sorry but this could be anything from an insect bite to a stroke.
Vets straight away! No one can diagnose that from the internet.

As Dive girl says take your boy too the vets, one of my old cavvies used to suffer badly from tree pollen and his eye used to close up completely.
Its such a worry when they are ill

thanks lisa. Oscar's other eye looks normal. No shakey movement. Have to go to vets today anyways to collect his injections (for skin allergies) pheww! just £82 to pay plus whatever eye drops cost! thanks anyway
How did you get on at the vets hun? Hope all is well.

took him to the vets at 10.15am and his eye had returned to normal, (bit like when you take a child to the doctors and they make a miraculous recovery) the vet did look very closley with a pen light. he reckons it was proberly an allergic reaction. thanks for your concern lisa x julie x
