I have a 18 month old black lab cross he has recently develped pink patches around his mouth (lips) is this normal? they don't bother him in any way and look alot like the patches dogs get on the inside of their mouthes however one of the patches is right up just below his nose

What do the pink patches look like?  Are they bald areas where the hair has fallen out, or do they look inflamed or infected?

colour not angry or infected at all

hair still there though very fair in colour not angry of inflamed in any way

It may not be anything serious, but take him to the vets to have him checked out just to be sure.
