absolutely - my border collie was put to sleep a year ago today so I can sympathise (she was 18and a half, blind and still able to get about but it was time for her to go before something awful happened) she is buried in one of the fields on the farm and the other day I went to visit her, took a total random route to her grave and right in the middle of a huge hay meadow was a single very large wild Daisy - her name was Daisy. I've had lots of weird experiences associated with her - I'm convinced it's because I think of her so much and this somehow heightens anything to do with her. Must admit the flower was quite a comfort, I know it sounds daft but I looked on it as her way of saying she is still around. Don't be too sad Maz - both our pets had a good life and were much loved.
