I'm going to focus on getting a cat straight away, I work in St Annes now and guess what! They have a cat rescue centre there! Help me choose!

I have been warned not to bring one home with me, as much as I would like to I still have a very old feeble kitty here with me now and the poor thing would have a hissy fit if his domain was shared by another fitter/younger moggy.
The one I have said I will take is so gorgeous, she's not in the pics as she is really not ready yet after just having her op, but they said they would email me details of others and we can go and look on Tuesday. The foster carer says that if i do have 2, i must take them home at the same time so that they settle together, especially as Tom's scent will still be in the house.
Where I went tonight they had a 10 year old tabby called Henry who was huge! His owner has gone into care and he was really agressive because he's so upset. Apparently the vetinary nurse won't let healthy cats be put down when it's a reason like that and she's organised a chain of foster homes. Brilliant idea really.
I would choose T-Leaf as she reminds me of my lovely stray puss who I found on my bird table, heavily pregnant and eating the bacon fat I'd put out for the birds.
They all tug at the heart strings though. It's a difficult decision. Well done you for being so caring.
lol mrsc, I'm not really caring I just feel I've room for 2 cats now that Max Bingo and Tom have gone. I'm really appalled at how many cat rescue places there are just in the Fylde area!
I've not read all the posts since I last looked at this...but dot-that's brilliant news...2 cats!!
That's the way to do it.
Even though you've had such sadness, some real good is coming out of it,as 2 cats will have a warm lap to curl up on soon. ;-))
