I'm going to focus on getting a cat straight away, I work in St Annes now and guess what! They have a cat rescue centre there! Help me choose!

Just loved Toby but they all need a home so best would be the one who comes to you and rubs up against you.
Good shout Dot -it'll do you good and also the wee puss who needs a loving home :)
Me, I'd go for Sucki or Lu Lu
Best of luck, Dotty. x
I'll vote for Lu Lu , but ofcourse, in the end, it is your choice. Good Luck.

I'm thinking Lu Lu too, i wonder if this is just a few they have and there are others. But I'll ring them from work tomorrow and ask them if I can have a visit next week.
oooo...I should never look at these!...I'd say Heath-with his huge grabby paws...and Rachel-'cos she's so affectionate.
Aw I like LuLu as well.................
Hugo and Howard..so they have each other when your at work.
awwww Dotty, gotta be T Bag , what a cat !!! Takes after me , good luck with which ever one you chose to be a slave to x
Dotty, sorry to hear about Tom. It's always so sad when a loved pet dies.

Since you work long hours, I'd suggest getting Hugo and Howard. They're not kittens so should be OK to leave for a while when you're out and they'll keep each other company.

Whichever one you choose, you're doing a great thing by rehoming a cat that needs loving care. Good luck to you.
(Mr mac has just had to haul one of my cats out of the tumble drier where he was about to settle down on the freshly dried laundry :) )
Heath looks a real character, but my favourite would be T-Bag - got that real 'you looking at me' attitude.
Ohhhh i would choose T-bag and sugar - the two little scared kittens.....you need two dot to keep each other company...
Let us know which ones you get...
Rachel looks like she'd be happy with you.... but I'd be tempted by T-Leaf and the kittens.... but as Dris says, the one who comes to you will be the best one.
LuLu looks like she could walk the 'catwalk' lol

Actually getting 2 at the same time from the same place may be an idea, my friend in seascale has 2 and they are always vying for her lap, I think it's a good idea. Tom got on really well with next Doors cat Preston, (next door are huge Preston NE fans) well, I mean Preston followed Tom around in sheer adoration and Tom glared at him as if to say 'who you lookin at! '
but look at little T bag he looks lovely.. It was such a shame about your other cat.. I think your doing the right thing in getting another one straight away..our last cat was 18yrs old when he passed on.. we got another one straight away and she's now 8 yrs old.. Mrs sammmo treats her like a little baby.. spoils her all the time.. I'm sure your next cat will be well loved.. take care dotty
Tbag and Sugar would get on, but it looks like they are not ready yet? I had litter brothers many years ago, they loved each other, fought and played together, they were great company for each other.
I've always had to have a tortie girl so I'd pick Sarah
I'd go for one of the black cats, probably Sucki, I've heard that black cats are really hard to re-home and are always the last ones to be picked, personally I think they're lovely

Tom's mum's brother Brancker (named after Johnny Madrid's horse) was all black, we had them both from kittens and Brancker was soooo lazy.

In 1976 I had a black kitten called Timendamus (names after Tim Matheson) and he was very skinny, not like a tomcat at all.

the first Rackel I had was in 1970, she was a beautiful cat, white with orange and black markings. like Tom's mum Rackel, which is why she was named Rackel!

I've only had one tabby, Lenny, he was long haired and very tetchy, but he was a stray someone left at the farm one night, that was 1977, we had lots of barnyard cats, all ferrell, they were usually tabby or 'barred' as my mum called them.
toby or lu lul.
