I have been giving my cat Hills Senior Light dry biscuits which he loves. However is IAMS Senior Cat just as good ? Is it best to buy Senior Light ?

But I found it difficult to get locally so I changed to IAMS and that was guzzled down. The vet assured me that they were both good quality food.
Frankie may be a tom cat but he eats like a pig or a labrador. He has been on a course of steroids that gave him the munchies. He is 'cuddly' and I was thinking of getting him some low calorie cat food. I have tried feeding him less at each mean and feeding him less often - but he mugs his sister for her food.
They are frustrating furry monsters.

My cats love FIT32 from Royal Canin. It's a bit more expensive so I tend to buy it when it's on offer - but I would rather buy a bag of good stuff which they will eat, than a bag which they get bored with part-way through. I buy senior (mine are!) - but they don't like Lite versions. Purina One is also liked!
My guys are 5.5 kilos each - big builds, not fat.
I also buy Hills t/d from the vets, to help keep down the tartar on their teeth.
They have two pouches per day of good quality cat foot (tends to be Felix or Whiskas), then biscuit for dessert.
