Betta fish with fungus...can anyone help me please.?

My betta fish has been hiding a lot today in his house. But now he has come out I can see his back and sides are covered with a misty veil, which I think is fungus. How can I help him now.? I will not be able to get anything for him until the shops open again.

divegirl, many thanks to you but sadly Sam died Christmas day. I found him dead in the morning when I got up. I am so upset to lose him as I had only had him for four months and he used to come out and see me if I called his name. I am going to get another one hopefully. Its a bit late but Merry Christmas to you. xxx

Awww hun, I'm sorry to hear that.
Hope you have better luck with the next one, they're such personable little fish it is hard when you lose one, I balled my eyes out when I lost one of mine.....the fact he'd cost me £45 didn't help!!!!
