Derestrict my scooter

Can anyone tell me how to derestrict my Piaggio cat 50?

At a risk of sounding prudish - remember that any modifications will have an impact on insurance, legality, safety and warranty and if you want a better performing bike/scooter then you are always better off buying a more powerful but standard vehicle - if funds permit.

well first you take off your exhaust and take it apart then you will find a washer on a little metal rod in the centre of the exhaust and add 3 washers on and put it all together if that doesnt work then remove the washers and hopefully it should reach a maximum of 55mph
