All 3 Osprey Chicks at Site B at Rutland Water fledged yesterday and the final chick of 3 at Manton Bay took the early fight this morning making 6 new Ospreys in the air over Rutland in the last week

Wow. That will be a site for sore eyes. How long will they be around, Milvus?
I need to catch another train.

They will probably start back to Africa from the start of September but that can be a wide range of dates as they migrate singly not as a flock or family. I was up at Rutland last week and saw the second chick fledge. Caught this picture of them wondering "tell me again, which way is Africa?"

Thanks for the pictures, Milvus. They've grown since I last saw them.
