So many birds nesting in my garden right now, so I've had to hold off on the hedge cutting, as I don't want to cause any disturbance.
Is there a rule-of-thumb time thats considered safe to start trimming ?

September or October,don't forget many smaller breeds will have two clutches a year if the conditions are good.
