I'm worried as I haven't seen him bringing food to the nest all week. OK I'm not watching it every minute but I go in several times a day. She had to leave the nest and hunt herself yesterday and I was terrified for the babies. She seems to be looking for him all the time. Anybody know when he was last seen? I hope it's just me missing him.
Please put me out of my misery:-(

very sad, but on a lighter note, it';s breakfast time at LOTL and two chicks doing OK
Morning, Seekeerz. Yes, and a lovely little osplet hatched at Dyfi, yesterday.
I have just seen the male deliver breakfast but he scarpered quickly, as the female returned.

Also saw someone walking in the woods below the tree. The chicks were alone for a good length of time.
The chicks don't seem to be hungry.
That sort of site must be nice if you have unlimited broadband and a spare monitor fixed on the wall. When I visit for a short while it seems all are simply waiting. Did see the mother sat there earlier today though.
Ah she's still there then.
We do have unlimited broadband, OG. It's a good job we do. :-)

Mum's eating at the moment and the chicks are all asleep.
Feeding them now.
What a beautiful site for the goshawks in the NF, she is quite an imposing lady, Mrs Gs, I gather she has her oh right under her thumb .....err ...talon !
As I'm not at my home, and using someone else's broadband, can only look in for short views anyway. Breakfast time has been the most interesting thing so far. Poor ol' prey though.
She's a formidable lady. The male terrified of her. Goodness knows how they manage to mate.
I have four nest cam websites open. I just flick through and see what's going on. However, I need to go now as duty calls. :-)

Have you all heard for sad news from LG? Last Osprey chick died overnight. EJ has left the nest and returned with a fish and fed herself. She cared for those chicks to the end without any food herself for 4/5 days. Odin still not returned but possibly recovering from injury. Very sad but better news at NF thank goodness.
:-(.....x
Thank you, OG. I had seen the news. It's been an emotional few days for an awful lot of people.
Watching the nest just now ....is that Dad with the chicks and is this normal ? I thought Mrs G was on feeding duties !
I'm not expert so can't tell you which gender the big bird is. Nice to see though. Was expecting an empty nest.
Hi OG, I think it must be Dad, he's a much lighter bird than the female, but she's usually there about this time with breakfast ....just wondering if things are ok.

Will keep watching ......
The Goshawk chicks ate squirrel yesterday. It looked a bit tough.
