The Gas Service Engineer Was Fine....

....when he arrived....a pleasant and quiet chap.....smartly dressed and not overly talkative like some.....
If I had know he had a spider phobia I would have moved and hidden the many metal and wooden spiders I have in most rooms.....
I collect spiders.....ornamental.....and live ones in the autumn.... :-)
And if he didn't have side pockets on his trouser legs and my bed wasn't so close to the chest of drawers he wouldn't have caught the pocket in the knob of the drawer.....I fixed that easily....he'll have to repair his own trousers though......
I'd have done it for him but he seemed in a hurry to leave....... :-)

I left him to it with instructions to call out if he needed anything.
Some fifteen minutes later I heard a muffled voice...the only word clearly audible was 'Dead'.
I rushed out expecting a gruesome find - thankfully he just had pins and needles in his foot.
A quick massage and all was well.
