I know it's not a suggestion but thanks for getting rid of those hardly readable letters when you use the report option :)

Much easier to report spam now

If somebody else uses the computer and came to the AB webpage they'd be able to post as your username, not really an issue on most peoples home computer but certainly a problem if someone was accessing AB from a public location.

I've left myself logged in at a friends house that used to be an ABer before and they mistakenly answered a couple of questions as me before realising, fortunately they also work in IT so they looked like the sort of answers I'd give anyhow.
Thanks Chuck for having clarified the issue. I certainly wouldn't leave myself 'logged-in' on any computer which was not my own personal item of equipment. However, if I understand correctly the 'set-up', it is safe to remain 'logged-in' from home, unless I allow someone else to use my computer; and that should be a relatively easy matter to identify someone posting in my name.

Thanks again....Ron.

No chuck, I was not letting anyone use my PC
In fact, this poster used their Blackberry and was logged in as me
At the time I wasn't using AB everyday - I'll see if I can find the thread
oj.....How do you know that the person used a Blackberry? Was the individual a friend of yours and at some time you had used the Blackberry which it appears you are able to identify.?

Ron.
Question Author
Because they said they were Ron

Have looked for the thread but can't find it and it was pure chance I logged on that day TBH
It was a random poster, someone I do not know and have never met who, AFAIK, lives no where near me
I might put a nice cupcake recipe in
