I know it's not a suggestion but thanks for getting rid of those hardly readable letters when you use the report option :)

I am able to enter AB by a single click of my mouse and, without any 'signing-in' am presented with my 'Profile page'...from which I can traverse all of the site and, if I should need to 'Report' a member , a page appears with my password section completed with 'security spots'.
TCL....Are you saying that you have to log in each time you click into AB.?

Ron, we've been here before - that's because you don't log out of AB when you shut down your computer (which as we have said before, some of us consider a security risk). If you have asked your computer to remember your password then you will get the dots as your password (I do, too, when I sign in). When I report anyone, I have to enter my password - I wouldn't want it any other way.
boxtops....The reason I have Not told TCL how I am able to do so, is because I know that you and others feel that my computer is open to being invaded by nasties; if I refrain from logging out.
However, what is your reaction if I now tell you that, following your advice about 'logging-out' being important, I am still able to enter AB without having to complete the logging in process; even after I have logged out.

As far as I can see, I need to be logged into this site to report a post, whether that is doing it each session or because it remembers me and the password, a password had to be used at some point. Why then does the password need to be entered again?
It appears odd that I need to enter the password just to report someone but I do NOT need to enter the current password to amend the password.

Perhaps boxtops is better informed on technical matters than I am and will re-enter the discussion.
I feel fairly certain that, if you have completed at some stage the full requirements of the 'log-in' page (Username & Password) and ticked the 'Remember Me' box, then on all future occasions you arrive at AB, you only then need to click the 'Sign-in' box to fully access the site.....without any further need to enter a password to make a 'Report'.

Ron, no I won't, I don't have any reaction at all - different people's computers are set up differently, and we have ours set up in the way we feel is safest.
I have to put in my username, then my password is already there with the dots - I have clicked the Remember me box to get the password auto-entered, but the password has to be manually entered.
I am certainly not technical, I don't really want to discuss it further, but I suspect it's because you and I are using different browsers (as we've discussed on many occasions before).

Cheers boxtops....You are happy and so am I .
Sorry if I may have appeared to be putting you on the spot. I honestly thought that perhaps you were one of the AB techies and that by accident I had discovered easy ways in and out of AB and that it was of interest to ABers who are having difficulties.
We'll talk again in other posts.......Ron.☺☺☺
