an answerbank query
I am relatively new to AB so forgive me if I ask a dumb question but here goes! If I answer someones question (or I am just interested in keeping track of the responses, how do I do that? Is it by hitting the 'subscribe to question' button? I have tried this but I received an email tonight saying that a particular thread had been updated but when I looked at it it was exactly the same - with the same 2 answers.
What dumb ass part of me can't figure this out?!!
Hopefully someone is online at this time on a Tues night/Wed morning to answer.

I notice that it says that I have had 8 answers removed. Why would this happen or what does it mean?
Also, it says that I have an answer to one of my questions but when I click on it, it says that there are no replies at present. How come?
Sorry for bothering you Boo.
Cheers jno. By doing what you and Boo suggested, I have found out that my responses were removed cause I accidently posted them too many times.
Still can't work out why I was emailed to say a thread was updated when I am the last post on it. It is under Animals & Nature and the question is called Whippets in case you want to look (not likely!!)
Hi all,
No Questions are dumb questions on The AnswerBank! For shame....
As mystress mentions, you will receive an email when the AB ED has edited a post on the thread. And yes, to follow along with the thread's progress - you click on the "Subscribe to Question" link on the particular Question. Alternatively, to Unsubscribe (and stop receiving email updates) you click on the "Unsubscribe to Question" that appears on the Question.
