Multiple user names
ABE, I was having a look at the Site Rules (as you do of a Monday) and seen the following
"Any abuse of the AnswerBank's registration procedures will not be tolerated. Any users attempting to acquire multiple user names will not be able to do so."
I have used the name MUMPING when I was getting blocked but I always said who I was. There are folk on here wi LOADS of user names and some have admitted to it What is being done about them?

Folk using different names to stir up trouble and grab some attention for themselves. I think too, that ChatterBank is getting a wee bit crude. Folk should mind on the fact that this a FAMILY site and I wish ABE would be more strict wi folk who use obscenities. The fact that someone uses a variation of letters to get an obscene word on screen, sh1t for example, does not excuse them. I know there will be some who do not agree but I would like to think there are many more who do.
Hi corbyloon, silly moo and jno,
I hadn't noticed my initials being used but I will look out for it now, probably only a coincidence. I am dothawkes, dothawkes2 and mrspswayze and that is pretty much it now as far as I know. Definately I would not want to be linked with any obscenity, it's not my way on here or anywhere else. This site is for all ages and I enjoy it as much as anyone.
nite all
In full agreement with the comments re *'s etc. and this being a 'family site'.
I think the rot set in when we all campaigned so hard for chatterbank - some people treat it as a chat room rather than a Q and A site.
Never mind - it'll all come out in the wash !!
Hear Hear TCL,
Only one problem though, If you strengthen the robots, they will wreak havock in the other categories, Already this evening I have had a perfectly innocent post censored here.
If they can be so fussy in normal threads, why can't they be more effective in CB? Couldn't they be given a more rigorous remit just for CB?

Ridiculous. Yet all these other multiple users and imposters are allowed to run amok all over the place.
