Has anyone bought one of these ?
Could you please tell me the size of it? I don't know why they don't state it! I have mailed M&S but they haven't replied yet.

Or has anyone seen the same thing elsewhere? Thanks!

Hi Robinia That song's a new one on me. I found it quite sad really. Hope that's not how you feel.
Brian helped me with the colouring thing and I understand it a bit better now. Don't know how you do different colours in one line though but I've made a start.
I have been to a pub called The Peregrine today down Nottingham Road, I had lunch with 6 friends who have retired from our place. I think that means I'm the oldest employee there now. They keep trying to get me to retire - maybe next year.
Hope everybody else is ok today and that you all have a good night.
Hi there everyone! Here's the Nordic weather report: It's sloshy. Wet. Rainy. We did have snow and ice on the sidewalks for a short while, but that was about a month ago.

The Nobel festivities went well. I wore my very best rags, of course.

Had my thingy removed from my back today, Jude. Only three stitches, not much, compared to your, what, twelve? (How's your infection? Did you not manage to keep it dry? I don't think I'll shower again this year...) It didn't hurt a lot and I'm not too worried about whether it's malign or not, I don't think it is, it's just that it bled a lot and so I'm better off without it.

Neti, I sympathize. I thought about you today. I was almost hysterical myself at the doctor's - I really detest the local anesthesia (at the dentist's too) and fear it will never wear off. Well it did, and very quickly too - the last stitch hurt! Neti did you read my answer to you a few pages back when you asked about the procedure? If not, do so now - it's very reassuring even if I do say so myself, and what's more it's truthful. By the way, I found your two thirds of a Christmas tree hysterically funny. Don't know why - it must have metaphorical qualities, I guess.

Woo Hoo! I'm so excited, everyone: Vinny has asked for my sauna piccy.

Love your secret garden, Vinny - but is that Satan over in the corner?! It's somebody with horns, that's for sure.

Shaney, did you write that piece on strange placenames yourself? If so, you're a professional.

Well, guess I'll just go and elf myself, then. Back in a while.
Dear Kit, yes I read all about the scanning procedure, but I fear that in these backwoods we have a slightly older type machine, it was incredibly small and there was no way I could go in it. I tried believe me, I lay on the platform bit but once that started moving I was off. yes I had a bell but it kept going off as I was so nervous so even the operator said it wasn't worth while even trying as I was going to be half an hour in there and I prob would have b*ggered it up at some point. So I have decided to stay with my cronky old shoulder, at least it's not fatal, so not to worry.
btw it's was lovely and sunny today, but gets jolly chilly at night.
Two cat plans for you, Neti:

Plan A.

Plan B.

Robinia, I learned a new word thanks to you: Lurgy. I won't remember, I don't remember anything these days, but it's a good word to have known for a couple of minutes... (I managed to find it in an online slang dictionary.)
Oh I see, Neti, , and I do understand.
...well we'll just have to stick to plan B then... (Plan A was a cat stretched out on a shrink's couch, and the shrink was a dog. Guess you had to be there...)
Hi Kit Nice to speak to you again. My hand is a great deal better now thanks. And will be almost better by Wed. when I go back to work, so customers shouldn't be put off by it.
Lurgy is an old word over here. I remember using it many years ago. I don't think the young ones would know what it meant now.
Hope you are keeping well and looking forward to Christmas. Tomorrow is my last Tai Chi class before Christmas and we are having a bit of a lesson then a Fuddle. I am going with my sister for lunch afterwards so I wont have to eat much at Tai Chi. Might manage a mince pie though. Dread to think how much weight I am putting on already. :o)
Hi Jude! I took a Tai Chi class at work about ten years ago, it was only ten times, but after that I didn't have any migraines for a year and a half...! I really really wanted to keep it up, but there isn't enough room to swing a cat in my flat and so I kept bumping into the bookcases. Do you do it outdoors? In the morning? I remember once seeing some footage of a Tai Chi sequence shown backwards, and it was almost indistinguishable from how it's really done. That was so fascinating! Normally when you see a film shown backwards all movements will be jerky, but this was so smoth!
Kit I dont do Tai Chi outside but I have been going since June and I love it and find it very relaxing as I am quite a highly strung person and it suits me very well. I have mastered the first part of Cheng Man Ch'ing Form, but there are many forms as you probably know. I have a DVD of all of the form so I can practice during the week and see where I am going wrong which is quite often :o)
Ah Jude how very much nicer it sounds to be high strung than all the equivalent words in Swedish...

Ever try qigong? I did, but didn't like it nearly as much as Tai Chi.
Lol Kit that could be me at times! But as I've got older I have calmed down quite a lot. When I was young I got rid of all my excess energy Rocking and Rolling as the others will tell you I still do it most weeks :o)
Never tried qugong but our instructor teaches one half of the class in that while we're doing out 'thing'. She has an assistant who shares the job and she is very good at all of it and has been teaching for many years. I love to watch her demonstrating it looks so elegant and calm.
...and I suppose there are many different forms of qigong, too. The one I did, we stood completely still (i.e. on the same spot of the floor) for the entire duration of the class, we basically just moved our arms. Not for me, I need the coordination training.

They said on the telly yesterday that it's still so warm over here that the bears at the zoos won't go into hibernation, but I think I for one will - had a high strung day! Good night every one!
Good night Kit See you soon :o)
Oh Neti I would give it another go ..take some Bach Rescue Remedy beforehand it will calm you down .It's nothing to worry about ...honestly .Mind you when I had one my head wasn't in the machine ..well.... not quite anyway and the machine went round me .!! Mind you it did feel a bit like a life on the ocean wave at the time .I wish I could come and hold your hand .Stiff upper lip old girl ...lie back and think of ....er....um....er......Elves ?
Ooh well done Jude by the way ...all in technicolour ..no stopping you now !
Kit ..The dog is a dear and no ,I am not a poet !

Well....only rude ditties ..such as

Vinny had a Becks tin
He kept it for himself
When he pulled the ring pull
Out popped an ELF .

That screed was from a Norfolk dialect website .
