It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

Ive been on the internit...and the nurse says....me beards fine...Robinia..but keep washing it with carbolic soap...!and brush with a fine comb...hope it dont put you off sitting on me lap..( :)ho...ho..!

Gorsh darn it Vinny I'm stupified and flattered you remembered. Robinia sorry I borrowed your best tank top when I was there - fitted me perfectly - you know the purple and orange one - it will go perfectly with my purple elephant flares with the orange insets. Will bring in back all washed and fluffy.

phew - nipped to the local shops for some soup & a nice brown loaf & I've just spluttered it all over the place laughing at Vinny!! Hang on, I'll spit on me hanky & wipe your faces...

Peri you'll look fab. I'll wear the crochet one, I must remember to wear a bra tho' ! Has anybody found it yet?

Was thinking of wearing my 70's suede hotpants but unfortunately they seem to have shrunk by about 4 sizes, so it will have to be my best pink and blue crimpolene dress with a nice knitted little white cardi. It looks really something with my black fish nets and pink slipper boots. Watch out here I come........... must dig out that really nice bright orange lipstick and blue eyeshadow. Wish I could find my teeth though!!!

Well I'm getting a nice tight curly perm so that it will last until Easter and am treating myself to a blue rinse like Phyllis' from Corrie. I am so excited. I mustn't forget the Tenna Lady!

I shall have to find my Miners spit mascara up and that crocheted dress which stretched in the wash so I turned the hem up.Oh yes and my platform shoes.A quick squirt of Taboo and I shall be ready.Make sure there is plenty of Cherry B.!

Not a happy bunny today .
I have to have three teeth out next week ,very joyful..I have a stonking cold at the moment ..it's my brothers Golden wedding on the 18th and I shall be grinning not smiling at all my relatives for lack of teeth !! I just hope I get the new ones before the occasion. Failing that I shall just have to get myself off to Biddyford Asap.With no teeth I should fit in fine!

well i looked like a biddy last week i had my reddish blonde hair highlighted blonde the stupid hairdresser left the bleach too long and put loads of highlights in so i looked really old as it was all pale blonde..some of it nearly white...so i sent mr m out to fetch a red dye fast..and have now returned to normal...i certainly dont fancy going grey or white haired it ages you fast!!

Well I'm gonna beat the rest of ya I'll be wearing me old bridesmaid dress from the late '50s. All pink tulle and lace (albeit a bit torn and stained) and pinned at the back. Somehow Baby Jane springs to mind.

mullein don't fret about your hair - I'm just one shade short of trollop! Forever young would be a nice name but if we hide under the disguise of BiddyBank then we'll keep all the silly 'kiddies' out! We can all act as daft as we want once the door's shut.

neti I had a bridesmaid frock from the late 60's. It was orange silk shift style with a lace coat over the top...mmm wonder if it's still in the loft?... & the white slingbacks...
