I woke up in the middle of the night and realised that I hasd forgotten to thank KIT for the cute avatars (sorry for the bad manners Kit) I have saved them for future use, also Aretha's amazing hat which I had missed on the TV.
This new lboke looks like a regular guy I hope he does well, its a big job.
I am also a bit of a handbag junkie...I collect Kipling, just got a new one for everyday, my old ones date from my working days and you can get a whole office into one of them (that was the idea as I used to work from multiple bases) Anyway now have a new cute brown one....I love the monkeys. I like those ghost chairs as well, not sure how they would look either draped in old sheets/towels or covered in dog footprints and nose wipe though so maybe not.
I know the weather is a banned subject but is it EVER going to stop raining? The mud in my garden is a slippery as a skating rink.
Had a rude joke from Dolly this morning, almost baptised the keyboard with my easrly morning coffee

I was wondering about Kipling bags woofy - exceedingly good then are they? I've seen them on <whispers> QVC. Lordy, how awful is that channel? SO awful you have to keep watching to see just how bad it can get. They're the only people, other than moi, who can use 500 words when 5 will do. I never knew there was so much to say about Quick Peel waterproof tater mitts with slicer.....

Jude will remember this too...Some time ago we had a free paper (Derby Trader) & there was a crossword called Keyword where 1 across was the (key) word that linked several other answers. Do you know what I mean & can you buy them in books? I think I'm all Sudoku'ed out, I need a change for those 3am interludes.

Hi All Thanks for the Avatars Kit saving them just in case.
I do remember the carpet shop. Jno Just read through some of it. Didn't I chat a lot in those days!!!
I also remember The Trader and the Keyword. Robi I'm still into Sudokus but I also like the Skeleton Crossword in The Sunday Express. I only have that paper for the puzzles and the Reviews section.
I've actually been out and bought some wool to knit myself a tank top Ha Ha!!. It'll probably end up at the charity shop.
The sun is just coming out after a morning of rain oops forgot we're not supposed to be talking weather.
Your kitchen sounds fab Jno as I bet all you house is.

Heaps of them at the weekends but Mr.S is a newspaper fan so he reads them and I do all the puzzles .I can't think of any book with just keyword puzzles in but I do subscribe to Puzzle Monthly from this lot

thanks shaney there are soooo many books in the newsagents nowadays, it's a massive puzzle knowing which are worth buying....those keywords were very popular & I wrote to the Trader to ask if they could bring them out in a book but I never got a reply. They obviously didn't know the answer to that one.

Hi all, my computer has a virus and is recovering in hospital, am in local internet cafe and all the keys are worn out!! Hopefully get it back today or tomorrow, am so lost without it. If you move house please email me and I'll get there asap. Daughter's visit was lovely, no rows and lots of lovely meals in resturants, even ate maki (love it) . Was freezing here yesterday ans so today and all dressed up for the artic and it's warm!! Will go now as this stupid machine is driving me mad, the a doesn't work without banging on it!
