I have a thick, very sticky white substance on some of my conservatory plants. I presume it is from an insect as it doesn't look like mould. I have sprayed it with insecticide but nothing shifts it. Any ideas welcome. Should I get rid of the plants?

Thanks Robinia for the use of your garden. Ugh thank heavens I am away from that spider lurking under the petals.

Right gessoo as long as you keep all green things (inc. Vinny) away from moi, we should get on famously. Right I'll sit in this big armchair (which I ordered) and I'll await me tea. Put on the TV someone - Ta!!

Right....!! That netti's had it now....

Actually gessoo that soup looks rather nice.

Vinny you have just proved that I do bring out the beast in a man!!!!!

my, the sun is shining! Though I suspect it may be an optical illusion done with mirrors and mass hypnosis... anyway, I am starting to pack for a little cruise next week. May pass somewhere near Ibiza; if so I shall wave. Rome here I come!

oh, my washing's done......

mmmm .....

gosh Robinia, that's a good idea - a wooden conservatory, to stop the sunlight fading the drapes.

Morning Robbie. Sorry you are still off colour. Must admit I don't feel too healthy at present. Just achey and tired all the time. Finally went to sleep at about 2.30 after Ibuprufen, Paracetamol and (in desparation) a Piriton because I am coughing all the time with a tickly allergy cough. The Piriton did the trick!!! I slept until 8.45am.

You don't have to do your own washing here, you know. Whilst here everybody is going to get pampered. The sun is shining so feel free to use the facilities in the garden
