evening all, hope you've survived the storms if you had any....I've been in Nottm area & the weather was fine there until about 3.30 but here we came back to a bad storm & looked like it had been raining for hours. (Ended up doing a real mystery tour haha, thanks to roadworks & thinking we could outsmart the designated diversion).
Lovely & fresh now halellujah! bet the grass will be up to my knees tomorrow! Was very worried about leaving charlie but he was fine - think I must have started feeding him too much too soon yesterday.

Not a drop of rain here ..apart from a short sharp shower this morning..which lasted all of ten mins.
I got all my bloomers dry whilst waiting for Vinny...who is conspicuous by his absence1
All that faffing around ..packing my shopping trolley with necessaries for the day out....poor Neti having to do with KFC and jno getting teeth done in honour of the occasion.

Well that was the worst night we've ever had at our local. Very funny atmosphere.(Peculiar not Ha Ha). We are quite pleased to be home. Quite a lot of strangers and odd bods there and not the comfortable feeling we usually get. Ne'er mind eh yer can't win em all can yer?!

Good afternoon.biddys,Okay...!! who locked me out....been trying for ages ....went down the quay last night fer a few pints....lovely evening...and a nice shower on the way home....do you know..its the first time Ive noticed, Bobbys dont carry truncheons anymore...Hiya Dolly..Im afraid I dont know much about property and schools etc in south devon....but if its anything like n.devon...its going sky-high..just got the observer and in page 9 there's a piccy off Woolacombe,also mentions the price of house's is rising faster here than anywhere...in the UK.still wont stop the Pimms Brigade moving here.(hi jno)..hehe.....This is jno....

Well that's another Sunday done and dusted. Been to my Dad's then my elder sister's for rice pud and my younger sister's for barbecue. Just printed off Dylan's Blonde on Blonde lyrics to see if I can make head or tail of them! Sad or what! It's been a lovely day here today.Hope all of you have had a good day. Still don't know where we are going next. I want to go to Woolacombe but the nearest I will be in 3 weeks time is just outside of Seaton on the south coast. Can't wait, visiting my son for 3 or 4 days.

Blimey jude,I use to work in Warners Holiday camp in Seaton as a Breakfast chef in the late 70s.I lived in a tent in Axmouth.I could tell you some storys...erm..perhaps when I ve had a few Beers.Talking of beer,I use to walk across the clifftops to Beer for a drink(Beers a small village )

Yep Vinny I've stayed in Beer at that caravan site on the top there. My son is going there on August Bank Holiday weekend. I tell you Vinny there are lots of places I've been to in Devon. North and South.

morning peeps.....beautiful one it is too but set to become (too) hot this afternoon....have been & done a bit of pruning already....a large carpet of leaves is gathering under the robinia - at this rate there'll be nothing left for the autumn.
Had a nice day yesterday as temps were much more manageable.

Don't worry Vinny when I win the lotto I'll be moving down your way ......that'll reduce the house prices, in fact you'll be paid for living there.

A dungeon? Well, I suppose if it's like caves, with the temperature a constant 55 degrees or thereabouts, it could be quite pleasant. Are mealtimes regular? Are the thumbscrews applied in private?
