What happens when you subscribe to a question?

I assumed that if you did that you then had an email if someone posted an answer, like you do if you are the 'poster'. However, did it for the first time the other day, received no emails but trawling through the questions found it had had 2 new posts. Cheers

yes, same here ali - I've had notifications days after the answers were actually posted...the ab postman must save them up until there are enough to fill the basket on his bike.
