Questions not showing as ''answered''

Why are some questions, that HAVE been answered, not showing the ''number of answers'' ?

Like this one? There is one question answered 2 1/2 hour ago and it doesn't show in the list of questions but it does when you look at it in yir profile (Questions looked at) Maybe it's all part of the improvements...

I have worked out that if you sign out and then come back in, the site seems to redo itself and the answers show

weird stuff is afoot.
Apparently not all the answers are being shown to everybody either. I expanded on a question redcrx had answered over on parenting and 2 people came on after and gave exactly the same answers. I thought people were just being rude but then it happened again and the poster said all the other answers had just appeared!
Sorry that was so rambling - hope it makes some kind of sense.I think the ed is trying to turn us against each other.

I answered a question on body and soul about half an hour ago and although the answer is there the question is still showing as no replies. However if I go into most recently answered it is showing 1 reply.

It is because the pages are not refreshing properly they must be loading from temp files as you browse. Press your F5 key (IE) to refresh the page and voila! Code can be added to the web pages effected to stop this happening but could slow things down maybe.

no, doesn't work for me Kerplunk. I think it's a problem at the AB end - the Ed does say they're tinkering with the systems and things will be going slower (days slower?). In fact, you seem to get a more up-to-date note of how many answers a question has if you look at it via my profile than under the topic heads.
