If it annoys you to the extent where you have to annoy everyone else about it, why dont you just stick to asking/answering questions? or get a new user id thats nothing to do with dot/hawkes so noone knows its you, so therefore cant imposter you?
secondly, have you ever wondered why someone keeps doing this to you? perhaps something you have said or done in the past has made someone feel like this about you?

kazza if i annoy you why are you responding, cyberspace is fairly big you know. i won't be talked down to because i have a grievance about being impostered and ridiculed, on the scale of 'done-wrong-to' i think I am slightly higher than the person who imposters me and puts up ridiculing threads.

Sorry Pippa, any and all imposterers are removed quite quickly when they are spotted and the ed has sent me an email with details of one of the emails the imposrerer used.

It hasn't been that this weekend though, it was the user called juggler who posted an insulting and ridiculing thread in reference to me the other day. it was still there last night, there is no nead for stuff like that, this is about questions and answers and when people do stuff like that it is just annoying and upsetting, i have put up with that sort of thing for ages but this weekend i decided I had had enough of it and so made a bit of an issue out of it to highlight what people are capable of anf their downright mean and nasty natures. Then total strangers start having a go who i have never heard of. they are anonymous losers to me.

This action is EXACTLY what whoever is doing this to you wants- they've posted nowt over the weekend and yet they are receiving all this free publicity? It's gonna make their Monday when they see them all- providing new Ed doesn't ban 'em all first.

It's obviously someone who only has access to a PC during work hours, I don't recall seeing any during evenings or weekends.

I really hope whoever is doing it is caught, weeded out, whatever but I don't think this is the way to go. Sorry mate.

No WW I was cloned when I was dothawkes on chatterbank in october last year and had to use dot.hawkes instead but around that time i was getting imposters as were several others which is why a few ids changed to aka etc.

WW I know I have had about 15 imposters to date.
