My housemate finally left on her travels though and I had the great satisfaction of slinging out her prumella (can't remember what it's called) squeezy thing! I didn't think thye even still made that! Repulsive.
Don't let Octavius in to discussions about cheese though as he goes off on one about cheddar and branston and that's just tacky. (Well it's quite tasty but it's not brie and pickled onion though).
I tried some of that cheese with apricot in the other day too. I'm not a fan.
Why do wotsits not really taste of cheese though?

Oh God Yes!!
Well on Sunday I brought these gold slips ons which were just gorgeous and totally sensible as actually I needed a pair of flat shoes for going to tescos in and stuff like that. Plus they went really well with leggings and some of my dressier outfits which mean that they could make them look a bit more casual so I could wear them the dressier outfits to the star and the club as the gold shoes would dress them down. Now I know what youre thinking but actually the gold goes with everything, it really does. The only impractical thing I can really think of is that its a bit cold outside and so maybe my feet might get gold but hey, it was either that or trainers and I dont really do trainers.
Anyway, so while I was getting the gold slip ons I saw these fabulous silver heels which actually had the oppersite effect of the gold slip ons as they would have made some of my more casual outfits look a little more dressy so on those nights I dont feel like dressing up, as long as I brush my hair and put some slap on I could still go out quite casusally. They were also amazingly comfortable which I was surprised about as the heel looked quite thin and high but then I shouldnt really have been surprised as New Look shoes are often more comfortable than they look. In fact they were so comfy that Ive considered seeing if theyre in black so I can get a pair for work but then that means buying two pairs as I really want them in silver too so Im really not sure what to do for the best you know its a conumdrum. But my FMBs are hurting my neck a bit and its cold out so theyre quite warm to wear to work but then I dont wan to hurt my neck so maybe I should just get both pairs? I dunno, what do you think?

Anyway so now I need some FMBs as I just said but Im nore sure of the way forwards here. See I think I need a black and a brown pair but then I did get by the year before last with just a brown pair. Although I have a black pair now but I mainly wear them to work. And should I get a flat pair? A cow girl pair? A fun pair? I dont what to do . Also, Ive seen some very good fun coloured pairs of FMBs. I think Im going to go with brown with a heel but Im not 100% on it. I could be swayed.
But my absolute best buy this month has been a dark red (claret if you will) pair of wedge heels. The wedge is in like a dark wood colour and there are studs on the shoes. The wedge is really high but as its a wedge its sensible so thats ok. Plus they were reduced from 200 to 40 so they were a bargain!
In fact, all my shoes of recent have been sensible in their own way! There was only one pair recently that I liked that I wasnt sure about. They were dark red, open toed sandals with a stiletto heel but I have to be honest and say that when I stood up in them even I couldnt walk in them and that takes some doing! So I didnt buy them but now I think I sort of should have because they could be good for horizontal positions but then Im not doing that either at the moment so perhaps that wouldnt be a sensible buy. Ill have to think about that.

These are my very favourite pair but I don't get to wear them very often

I need to buy a yellow top to go with them I think. But aren't they great?! I love them!
