Can the reason for a question being pulled be given?

The Editor in his wisdom has made it clear that no reason will be given for a question to be pulled.

it looked like a perfectly acceptable q too me, some good replys were made, what gets me is that out of the hundreds of qs put on here a day the ed pulled that one. Ok, i realize he or she may have pulled others i have not read, it was just annoying to type a reply then not be able to send it in. Daisy

And daisy as a new user youre probably not aware of previous trouble here.
Perhaps better if you settled in and got used to the site rather than wade in as if youve been here years and know the intricate workings and goings on of the site.
As a newbie you obviously arent in posession of all the relevant facts and history .

I feel that i am making a valid suggestion legendsgod ok its coming across as a moan too you but i did spend time typing my reply, and there were good advice given. I realize the eds decision is final but am in keeping with being a nation of moaning ninnies.

dont be so condesending legendsgod, i can read. I readthe Site Rules, the q that was pulled was an interesting one. I am simply making a suggestion that the reason be made. I dont have too know the sitehistory its a q & a site hence the question!

Se when you go to post it tells you if the questions already been posted.
If you feel strongly enough then contact the editor rather than repeat a repeatedly asked question.


`Perhaps the question was one by someone using multiple ids?Perhaps the editor is doing as hesaid over a week ago and deleting them , their accounts , and their questions.
If thats the case then i applaud him.
The more that get duplicate ids banned for being malicious the better .

You are surmizing as too why the ed pulled the post as is your want, i am suggesting that the eds reason was given which would end your speculation, dont you agree? i can only assume the editor decided either the question , or more likely the user was a malicious alias.
