I am a bit naive, but how will not letting people register at the weekend solve anything , when you first register you can only answer three questions in the first sixty hours, i can't see much harm being done by three answers,

Can the reason for a question being pulled be given?

This is not the answer as seasoned abusers of multiple user names have already worked around this problem my registering mid-week.
Get your 3 questions in 60 hours in on a tues or wednesday.....and by the weekend, they are ready to cause trouble.

I've never heard of only being able to make 3 posts in the first 60 hours of membership,can you post a link to where it says that please.

Hi, i have only seen it when i registered, but that is what it says, there must be someone who has just come on to AB who has seen it, might i add that my computer is far from dodgy, and i can also read, and yes it is true, why not try finding out first before spouting about it not being true.
