Is AB 1) Slow in removing the snowman and holly from its title, now Christmas is over and decorations are down, or
2) up to the minute, now we are building snowmen again, the holly being symbolic of how prickly we are about having to travel in the snow?

Confused, East Anglia

East Anglia?! You should see it in London, haha! We're knee deep here :-D

a snowman's not just for Christmas, you know. The last snow of last winter was in April. The first snow of this winter was in October. So snowmen are appropriate for quite a while. And holly's green year-round. They're seasonal logos, not just Christmas ones.
The 'spare ED' has already said Christmas is over, in his blog dated 17th January (quite a while ago now), he had trouble disposing of his tree I think...................instead of replanting it or taking it to be recycled, or even planting a new one to take the place of the old one).

The snowman is just a winter scene, nothing to do with Christmas.
I expect they're just stringing it out until they recycle last year's Valentine hearts...

I think there's a call for a special weekend logo though

I've got some nice pellets in the garage, just for him! ;o}
Hey, wasn't it you that named him Jasper, daniela31?

He has a personality now and has been the centre of much heated (or not) debate on here.

Like it Robinia, it should be that I agree :-)
I have a plaque on a tree reading: 'Welcome to our Garden'. It has a picture of one of those on it, even though they give me the willies! ;o/
Entice them in, then pellet em' is that the plan smudge?

They're not likely to set off chasing you. (or maybe they do!)
Stamp on the beggers - oh sorry are we talking about snails or Eds.
Here we go - No, I'm not that cruel KIDD, even tho' I don't like them!

The same as I don't like bats or spiders, but I wouldn't hurt them - I'd leave that to nature! ;o/

lol Neti!
My cat brought one into the kitchen last week, but I picked it up in a tissue & put it in the wheelie bun!
Anyway.....getting back to the Snowman - I think it's very apt at the mo'.

Lots more of them popping up around here too! ;o}
I was joking Smudge, I should have put a ;-) at the end.

i have already talked about the snowman logo ED get rid i mentioned this weeks ago
Thank goodness for that KIDD!

I'm quite a gentle person by nature & wouldn't want to upset anyone.

Have a nice evening! ;o}
I like the little snail thing. Don't like the real thing though. Had a load of them trailing round my living room many years ago!
That was meant to read wheelie bin - not wheelie bun! lol
Thanks smudge and you too.

And remember they'll be an army of them waiting for you the next time you enter the garden ;-)
