The F word
76 Answers
Why is there not a facility to delete or even star out the masked F word?
I'm fully aware that there's many folk who will be able to get round it, and you can't possibly delete them all but surely the F word, mispelled to say the same as a popular clothes company should be one of them?
And yes, I know that some folk will say that it's only swearing if we read it as such- but no one is naive enough to believe they were added into posts to be read as anything other than profanity.
As a family forum, which this is supposed to be- isn't this something that should be looked into?

If you think for one iota of a nanosecond that under 18s do not know, never have used, or heard, swearwords, then you really are living in cloud cuckoo land.
Besides, what does that have to do with "a family forum"?
There's no point quoting "the rules", for if they were actually enforced, the vast majority of us would never be anything but banned.
Perhaps then you could sit with your rose tinted glasses on in your utopian never never land talking absolute b0ll0cks.
Most of us live in what's known as "the real world." Join it, why don't you, you'd be welcome.

Yes, thanks, I'm not denying that Site Rules exist, nor am I attempting to justify ignoring and/or breaking them, but it just happens to be an undeniable fact that these rules are rarely, if ever, enforced, therefore why have them?
There are multitudes of examples where these rules are broken day in, day out, and nothing is done. I at least admit to being a culprit from time to time, but that applies to the majority of posters.
If you have rules, they must be enforced otherwise they are pointless.

Paraffin...I know the Site Rules are never enforced (or rarely and inconsistently) which I why I don't come onto the site as often as I used to. I was just posting the link to answer your question :)
