Re moderators etc, I believe that a certain degree of flexibility has to be maintained. After all, one person's definition of "offensiveness" may not tally with another's? One individual's upbringing may have been more "sheltered" than someone else's.

I, for example, spent no fewer than a total of 32 years in uniformed service to country/community.
Nothing much to shout about, perhaps, but my experiences of dealing directly with other human beings on a daily basis certainly served me well in the "university of life".

I'm not easily shocked whereas others may be so.

By doing the Q&A thingy at 4.30, he only has to listen to us drivel on for half an hour before he gets to go home and consume large quantities of vodka.

If he does it in say the morning, he has to listen to us drone on and on all day- no one should have to do that ;-)
