Congratulations Spare Ed,

Now most of the niggles have been quickly sorted out, the site is looking really good.

One of my quibbles is the pointsize in the box for writing questions. I have a large screen, and I can enlarge it big, but I can imagine a lot of people having problems. The text is really small, about 9pt where it should be 12 or 14pt. It is a lot smaller than before. In fact, the type sizes about the page seem to be all over the place.

Here is an example if it is useful.

Anyone not able to post questions - are you all using IE8? If so have you tried heading to a different page, deleting your cache and reurning to AnswerBank? Does the "title only" problem happen when you click in the box before the page has fully loaded? Any feedback is great.

I did post this as a separate thread but no harm repeating it here:

1. Is Latest Posts now intended to show the latest questions only ? (it used to show the latest answers too)

2. When submitting an answer to a question, the display is updated but one's reply is not shown, it's necessary to go elsewhere and come back to the question again to see it. The updated display used to show the reply that one had just submitted.

As of this morning (Friday) you can post questions from The iPhone.

Most of the Safari problems have now be sorted, Thant you Spare Ed and the techies.

I'd like to be able to use the hyperlink labels and html tags (italics etc) again, along with the preview option to see if I've used them right.

I'll end with 'f' as that's an expletive! PLEASE return to old site - it worked better.

e: The whole page has to be decreased to fit in avatars and thereby reducing print for viewing (showing at size 8 for me).

I quite like the new layout, thouh it does look a bit like someone's sat on the original AB and squished it, Are we getting our avatars back at all then?

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have our joining dates under our avatars, or name in an effort to sort out the trolls? Or are they now a thing of the past with this 'ere new system?

It was working earlier, but it has gone again. I think the techies tinkering on something else have lost it again.
