When following a link it used to open in another window now it doesn't and if the site you go to is one of those annoying ones that stop the "back" button working then you're stuffed. Please have links open in new window, thanks

I understood that you would be combining Crosswords & Quizzes/Puzzles, and also
giving clear instructions regarding the minimum information needed when posting a question.
Under the 'Report This' you appear to have dropped the 'duplicate posting' and 'not a question-chat'
from the reporting categories. As Q&Pers told you, by far the biggest reason for lack of space is through
duplicated questions.
I don't like the 'blobby' characters but you have speeded up the site.

There is no clear separation of answers, it is hard to see where one reply ends and the next one starts AND thar is because the page looks so pale, the replies in the thread from the question author are not highlighted with a coloured background and so I have to scroll back up to see who the author was to see if tghey replied.
When you click on best answer what happens? I xcannot see anything to show that there has been a selecte3d answer.
The type is too small and the answer box too wide.
The tabs for report this question etc are in font that is too paale.
It is impossible to keep up with the flow of a thread, as you cannot tell it has been answered.
When a thread is answered, the answer does not appear straight away and then they appear together and seem out of sync, some answers appear and then next timwe you look an answer has appeared before yours that was not there before.
I hate all the American ads, has AB been bought by Microsoft? I would never dream of subscribing to an appeal for preventing fires in the Rocky Mountains what's that all about? Who at the Ad Council?
Why do those blank avatar little people look like a copy of the Windows Live Messenger little people? It is too similar for there not to be a connection.
I used Firefox cos IE8 would only let me type a title , not the body of the question. Then half way through the night Firefox started doing that and so I switched back to IE8 and it worked fine.
The questions in our profile are ridiculously ridiculous and mean nowt unless you are selling us to advertisers, can i opt out if that happens please?

Dot, we will not sell your details. We are nothing to do with MSN, but Jelly Ed and Jelly Spare Ed are very similar now youn mention it.
The tech team attempted to fix IE8 last night - hence why it was working, they are going to play with browsers for the rest of the day I imagine! We'll find all the bugs soon.
US ads are being delt with - we were a bit worried when we were asked to join the US marines! It isn't really our thing!
The profile questions will be re-jigged as soon as possible. They will be used just for inter-site use.
And Dot, put some return spaces in there! It will make it a bti easier for my weary eyes to read!
Kayakamina - do you need a "chat," report button? We thought "spam," would cover it. We will be changing the text next to them shortly so as to be a little more discriptive. The rules will be up in the articles section soon. If you would like a duplicate question/chat button we are willing to accomodate. Let me know what you think!
Looking forward to hear from you all.

also, have you stopped showing new members as green? There are loads of new names appearing, has the site merged with another one, as these people do not appear to think they are on a new site, just a slightly different one, I would like an answer to this, perosnally my theory is that AB has merged with a similar site based somewhere outside of the UK.
I think your problem reading my replies Spare, is that the font is too tiny, maybe you have the same problem that I do, it is way too small to read any lengthy reply without having to squint at the screen, I suggest that this font is increased in size, either that or start advertising for SpecSavers. Oh and It's not just the reading of it, it's trying to type it out AND read it that is giving me a headache, and so try getting Anadin adverts n board too, actually, Nothing acts faster than Anadin, so start advertising Nothing aswell.
Ed thanks for your prompt response to my posting.
I think it is essential that a 'Duplicate Post' button be included as, no matter how
clear your new instructions are, there will be posters too lazy to check before
repeating a question. The 'Chat- not a question' is for those Q&Pers who start
a brand new post with the sole intention of chatting.
On Sundays the front page fills up with legitimate questions inside 15minutes
so 'Chat' has no place!
