This may have been asked before. What has happened to the Editor's pink box replies. Are they going to make a comeback?

On a more serious note though I don't think we should be able to edit what has once been posted, as it will sometimes render some of the (initial) replies incomprehensible. Also (as somebody else pointed out the last time this was up for discussion) there are people who would misuse it to post verbal abuse, wait for a minute and then delete it themselves, thus escaping banning but still getting their abuse across.

Preview would be nice though.

They may appear again! One day. I imagine if I turned up with flash new coloured boxes that I might get crticised for not "doing important things first."

We'll get some more toys first then we'll move on window dressing myself.
