correct number of answers

In My Details > Questions Which I'm Involved In, why are the numbers of answers wrong?  Eg a lot of the questions say "3 answers" but when you click on them, there are only 2

I think it is if any of the answers have been "banned".  It still shows up under the question, but not when you click on the question to look at the answers.
