What does it mean if an answer is banned? i posted a reply to a Liverpool/Manchester question absolutely all nice and it got banned. i dont understand?

Mercury, I think it was my fault. I posted an ironic answer, hoping to provoke some light hearted banter to demonstrate to the questioner the answer they sought. As I was born in Manchester and had taken part in this amusing tribal teasing for years it seemed OK. Having done so, you answered, quite properly in my opinion, that you thought Liverpudlians were nice, and that you thought that I was a bit harsh. I then further posted to emphasise the simple fact that my comments were ironic and light hearted.

 

Answerbank Editor took a dislike to the tone of my irony (which is their perogative) and removed both of my posts. I think they then removed yours also because it now refered to something that wasn't there. Sorry mate, I must remember to be more sober sided in future.
