Avatar activate: Have just gone through the avatar create process - how do I activate it to appear on AB?

Go to your profile by click the link above the topic list, then click edit user details and put a click in use avatar and click submit at the bottom.

..and if you still can't see it, try Control + F5

..and wait a few minutes for it to appear in your profile, then wait a bit longer for it to appear on your postings. Not sure why but I found logging out of AB and then back in also helped

No - sorry - followed your instructions. Tells me my avatar is inactive - clicking F5 brings up a very unstable "click the box" message but there is no box!?

Go back to your profile, make sure the active box is still ticked, go right down to the bottom of the page and click Submit. Come back on here and give it a try - it takes a few minutes for some people.

Try clicking a little bit to the left of the'click this box' message, and see if the avatar then appears in your profile

PS sorry re-read - if you have no tick box then tick under the YO of the message saying "your atavar...." in the general area. Not everyone's had a box to tick.
