Unless you join a religious order and hide yourself away in a Monastery for a couple of months it will be very difficult. Other than that keep your TV switched off and engross yourself in a good few Books. Whether you like it or not it will be in your face every day. Stop buying Newspapers as well ! :-D
I am fully behind the whole World Cup hype, it's only every 4 years, my grandson is 11 this month and it will be the first time he has been really interested in it and so it is special to him and I love the whole thing, always have. The ed said there would be the possibility of a count down clock and a logo too in the offing.
