as an added topic could we have one for in my case scottish abers ? i believe the majority of abers are english, i know of other sites where this is an option (not just scottish )i have a few reasons to put to you re my suggestion. at the moment in scotland there is an importand perjury trial going on, i would like to hear from other scottish abers who are interested. ..............scottish law is different from english law. scotland has its own parliament................ in no way would this be an exclusive site, on a more trivial note imo the scottish humour does not travel well on the net, where we may think our replies are amusing, not everyone "gets the joke " thanks.

Im Scottish and would like to distance myself from this suggestion.The Tommy Sheridan perjury trial is quite boring TBH anne -but if you post in News with a link i'm sure you'll get some feedback.

Just to bring OP back down to earth, whilst Scotland has its own legal system and some laws vary from those in England and Wales, the vast majority are common to both jurisdictions. I am happy to be proved wrong, but would be very surprised if there was any difference between Scottish and English law regarding the offence of perjury.
