Daer Ed,
Is there any way that the fact that a Post/Thread is closed could be indicated?
It's annoying so post a (sometimes) long answer only to realise (because of the lack of a green banner confirmation) that the thread is closed.
Just a note at the end of the thread"This thread is now closed" or next to the original title would nice.

Yep, there should be some indication, I've fallen in that trap countless times. :-)
