How about a Good news topic ed?

That way when someone has good news they want to share there would be a topic which could be used.I think it would be an excellent idea and that way when some arent facing such brilliant news they could avoid that topic and it wouldnt be in their face so to speak.

Im sure ive seen this type of topic elsewhere.Might be worth a consideration?

Bad news/Support topic-that may be an idea Lottie .Didnt think of that -that way people who 'needed' support could go there-thats maybe another thing the Ed may consider.I have to say hand that its common place to have a section for 'Emotional' issues good or bad and we dont really have one here -lots of little branches but not a 'designated ' place where you could go.
Food for thought anyway and I have to pop off as my husband is currently battling through snow and gales to get home -have to get the home fires burning.
Hope my suggestion has maybe opened up suggestions for the use of 'reduntant' topics for the Ed and his tea.

Damn you B00 lol -just came on to correct a typo -he was on the Beattock Summit too long ago and yeah weve had snow -hasnt lain in the East but up North its bad -have to go really.......................wheres the febreze and hoover lol !!!!!

actually I do quite like reading other people's good news, it can also lift the gloom. I just dont think it merits its own topic area, it over personalises answerbank that is essentially a Q&A site, which can put off newbies who feel out of the loop

So we are going to see a News topics with sub cats of Good News and Bad News. How about also including Really Good News, Really Horrendous News, Average News, Irrelevant News and AOG's News, as well as Mollie's News.

Honestly, me thinks not. News is news in any format and from any source, North, East, West and South.

Sometimes I like reading some good news threads. It all depends on what mood im in to begin with though, if im in a foul mood, i fail to see why anyone else should be so bloody perky -)

That being said, i like the idea of a Emotional Type category, im just not sure I'd frequent it often.
