I've just finished John Lydons ' Anger Is An Energy' What an ego he has, great read though!

The 1974 joint Booker Winner 'Holiday' signed by author Stanley Middleton.

Also for my grandaughter, have just bought her a red sledge, bought this beautifully illustrated book 'Red Sledge' by Lita Judge. Few words, mostly illustrated.

I havent bought a book for ages - mainly because I do so much reading for a living I cant read as much as I used to for pleasure. However, on holiday I read the first two "Call the Midwife" books which I really enjoyed.

Hi barmaid, I can understand that, great series, I imagine a nice easy read!

Only just started Elina! I have all the Booker Winners since the prize was first awarded in 1969!

I'd love to read more but time is so short!

It was a nice easy read for a tired brain!

I used to read constantly but just find I cant anymore. On the few occasions I pick up a book in the evening I am normally snoring after 2 pages!

Seems there's not much relax time around, which is why it's such a treat when we do have time to read. There's nothing better than a good book and a glass of wine!

I'm looking forward to reading that book to my grandaughter & saying, now all we need is a red sledge! Then walking in with it!

I am on Book 7 of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Two more to go and then eagerly awaiting publication of the next in the series.
