hellp, i'm trying to find the name of a book probably made in the mid-eighties it had creatures living around a swamp. two of the main characters ; a battered mattess and a tyre??

it was a cartoon book. not sure if it was a series.
swamp or creatures may have been in the title.

I think you mean the Fuzz-Buzz books. They're for very young children, and feature creautres that look like balls of fluff on legs.
