Primary school, early eighties. I remember an eerie series of illustrated childrens books. The main character would stay up late and watch for mysterious figures from his window. I vaguely remember that he had a friend called Aaron and they would signal to each other with torches, using different coloured filters. Of course I could've dreamnt it all up...
