Mine has to be Lord of the Rings. I have read it loads of times, first tme probably over thirty years ago. I love hearing other peoples favourite, ancient and modern !!! What is your all time favourite?
Elizabeth the Queen by Alison Weir. I've read it twice. I have also read Silence of the Lambs 3 times. Its an excellent book and much better than the film.

I have just finished reading a historical whodunnnit series set in Henry Viii times by CJ Sansom. There are 4 in the series and have very much enjoyed them.
