German Literature
4 Answers
As wider reading for my A Level course, I am looking to read some works of German Literature. Does anybody have any recommendations? It doesn't really matter if they're not in German (this would actually be better), anything that would give a good representation of German society/culture, etc.. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Andorra, a play - can't remember author - sorry
Das Brot der Fruehen Jaehre
All Quiet on the Western Front
get some magazines maybe or try some web-surfing for youth sites
or get some videos - "Run Lola, Run" is good
- depends whether you want current culture or not, there's always war poetry too - very moving.
All the best
