Hi boblion,

Can you be a bit more specific?
Are you just enquiring about how far back Dogs of Fo/Fu(Chinese Temple Dogs) go; or do you have a carving/figure that you need dating etc?

I have a pair they are ivory about 4 and a half inch tall. No scratches dents or chips and appear to be 100 or more years . So whatta ya think?

Hi boblion,

Without seeing them,I would guess they were made for export;and therefore would be made somewhere between 1800~1900,but only an expert could tell you.If they are signed a (Chinese Antiquities) expert could tell you who made them.
Have a look in your local Yellow Pages for Auction Houses, they would be able to give you more information, and a valuation if needed.
