The latest Neil Asher sci fi novel......The Soldier. I am on my third read and it is as good as any of the hundreds of books that I have ever read. Recommended.
Tilly - that is indeed a fantastic book - have you listened to the Audible version - I played it in three four hour chunks & didn't want it to end.
I agree about TP too, woofy - I still have the very last of his books (The Shepherd's Crown) to read - I've been saving it because I know I'll be bereft at the end ...
When I'm stressed, any book is unputdownable because I use it as a blocking mechanism. I just bury myself in my latest book and hide away from what's bothering me. So, it's quite difficult to pinpoint an unputdownable book, in reality.
I really did enjoy, Pixie....in fact World Without End is the only book where I have ever gone forward a few chapters to find out what happened to Caris...then happily went back.... :-)
I thought it was great too, gness :-). Tilly, I thought I wouldn't like a kindle... I have always been quite addicted to proper books and often fall asleep with one in my hand (a book...), but haven't picked one up since I got the kindle.
