This will be tricky trying to put it all into writing as there are a number of different dialects throughout the area.

Try not to do standard mummerset, zorr,

Devon is difft to Darset, and is difft to Zummerset

oo-ar oo-ar. Or perhaps the townies that are assessing you DO want a mummerset accent.

oo-er missus !

"West Country" is a big area - Cornwall is very different from Devon,, Devon form Dorset, Dorset from Somerset, and if you include Gloucester & Herefordshire you are looking at an enormous range of accents & dialects. It's like asking for "Northern" or "Midland" - you might fool some of the people some of the time.......

Devonshire's probably the most widespread accent.

All kinds of varietys...

"Where's eeee to" Where are you

"Where's it to" Where is it

"what you up to" What are you doing...

As you see the word to, is quite often used at the end of a sentence to establish something.

oooo ar, is somewhat predicatable, but very rarely used in fact i've never heard it said in normal conversation in my 29 years.

I think the Devonshire accent's a little lost these days...we is posh now me lover oooooooo arrrrr ;-)
